Pet Food Bank Assistance Program

RESCUE ALLIANCE’s Pet Food Bank is able to help families in Louisiana feed their pets when times are tough. A few months of assistance can mean the difference between an animal staying with his or her family and an animal being surrendered to the shelter due to finances.

In an effort to both help everyone in need and collect better data on how we are helping animals in our community, we have organized our Pet Food Bank Assistance Program and launched it on February 1, 2020!

RESCUE ALLIANCE’s Mobile Pet Food Bank will now operate Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM – 1 PM and 3 – 6 PM. To be considered for the program, the head of your household must complete a simple application and sign an agreement that outlines the program’s parameters. You can complete the forms online or you can view and print them through our website:

No one should ever have to choose between feeding themselves or their pet.

To ensure that no pet goes hungry, our pet food bank provides free life-saving pet food and supplies to anyone having financial difficulties.

Note: The Mobile Pet Food Bank is now operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
